Practical materials to start your energy community and collective action

The DECIDE project has developed four Tool Cards, designed to provide society with different approaches on energy communities and to build awareness on the need for a sustainable energy transition.

The aim of the first tool card is to help children better understand the functioning of the clean energy system and sustainability. It is an educational board game that lets kids explore the functioning of the energy system and renewable energy sources.

The project has additionally developed a second energy game, which has the objective of gathering opinions of individuals about energy communities and collective energy actions. It is meant to be played by potential members, so that energy projects can better define the business model that will work better for their specific context.

There is also another tool that can help define the strategies of an energy project, which is the stakeholders' map. It should be done before the setup of the project, but it is important to update it periodically. The stakeholders' map is the perfect tool to identify the influential players in your field and to get to think about how to deal with each of them.

Last but not least, DECIDE has built a tool to help present initiatives in a catchy and concise manner. As communicating different energy projects to stakeholders is key to building a successful energy project, this tool will be very useful for representatives of energy projects.
