DECIDE at the IEEE International Forum

DECIDE at the IEEE International Forum

18 Mar 21

Starting from today until 23 March, the IEEE International Forum on Smart Grids for Smart Cities takes place virtually and DECIDE Consortium Partner B.A.U.M. will be part of it.

On Friday 19 March B.A.U.M. managing director Ludwig Karg will be coordinating a tech session on “Local Energy Communities and Microgrid”. Insightful discussions with his nine panel participants on the future energy supply are expected. DECIDE partner ENBRO is present and Johan Konings will talk about “LECs for Ladies”.

The IEEE gathers experts from the energy, telecommunications and computing sectors to address transformation challenges and opportunities. Worldwide, the convergence of data and energy infrastructures is used to enable a better life for the citizens in smart cities. Smart grids show to be a real enabler of such cities.

Another highlight takes place: our colleagues working for the EU H2020 funded projects Platone, FEVER and edgeFLEX are participating with virtual project booths. The booths are available at the projects zone on all days of the event.
